Reneta

Reneta was born at the end of the Middle Ages in Europe. A time of great social change. Reneta showed artistic tendencies since a child, but as she grew older, it was obvious she was meant for so much more. She started getting into philosophy, psychology, and later politics. She was always challenging the status quo, and was one of the greatest artists in the verge of the Renaissance. Even though the times were considered as a rebirth of society and art, there were still plenty of people rejecting the new ways. And when Reneta started questioning the equality between men and women at the time, she was met with a lot of resistance. Her revolutionary mind was feared by many, and she was thought of as a witch. As punishment she was cursed into being trapped at a bottom of a lake for eternity. She sat there, bubbling with rage against the people who couldn't understand her, while plants were slowly covering her. Hundreds of years passed but due to recent environmental changes because of global warming, the cursed lake dried up, and Reneta was free. She couldn't believe it, after so much time yearning for revenge, she could finally have it. Not only that but also centuries had passed and her revolutionary ideas would finally be appreciated. However, as she learned about the modern world, she got more and more frustrated. With the passing of years, different idealogies had gotten so twisted, that she could hardly relate. She always considered herself to be at the forefront of modern thought, and here she was being repulsed exactly by that. Reneta felt empathy for the same people that had trapped her, for the first time ever, she feared change. She concluded that in one lifespam, a human could only take so much change, people were trapped into the ideas of their times. Reneta no longer seeked revenge. She seeked a cure for the curse she'd been put under, so she could die peacefully, with all of her outdated ideas.🌷 was born at the end of the Middle Ages in Europe. A time of great social change.
